Being one of “Mikes girls” @ SlimmingWorld was an absolute pleasure, you never failed to make me laugh Mike, nobody could sell a raffle ticket like you!! so so many happy memories. Today at your memorial I learnt so much more about you and it made me feel so proud that I had known you! Sleep tight my lovely 🥰

I have many Happy memories of time shared with Mike and friends at Southampton University.
Mike was a very outgoing, jovial person who encouraged everybody, really cared about everybody and always tried to help people - including me!

I was lucky enough to get to know Mike through his involvement with brass bands, in particular with my band, GUS, where his legacy endures today in so many respects. In addition to his music, every time someone looks at the band logo or website, it is thanks to Mike.
My wife, Emma, through a parallel path became friends with Mike through Staines Brass.
This was one of the things about Mike, his apparent boundless energy and talent. He always so generous with his time and delighted in seeing others succeed. Mike helped so many people.
His passion, drive and warmth will be sorely missed.
